GRADE 2 FRENCH
Here are two recordings to help with learning clothing and colors. The Book "la maison" was sent to you as an email attachment. I have a recording for the kids to listen to. I also made a recording of numbers 1-60. The vocabulary of clothing & colors will help the children prepare for this week's QUIZ.

The quarter grade will reflect progress in several areas:
AURAL COMPREHENSION 15%
(aural comprehension of spoken numbers and alphabet letters)
NOTEBOOK PROJECT 15%
11 Crayons: blue, red, green, yellow, brown, orange,
purple, black, white, pink and gray. NO MARKERS FOR
FRENCH. I will supply a pencil case for the 11 crayons.

Written work must be in pencil. Papers must include full name. If no name on paper, a 5-point deduction from the score.
Late homework must be turned in by the next class day and will receive a 10 point penalty.
A late notebook will only be accepted 1 day late and will receive a 10 point penalty.
When a pupil is absent, make-up Quizzes must be taken within 5 school days of the absence.
Make-up times will be scheduled during the lunch recess.
The class will meet for a full 40 minute period twice per week, on Wednesdays and Fridays. If there is no school on Friday, we will have French on Monday.
