GOALS -encourage students to acquire skill in 3 communication areas: listening comprehension, speaking, and reading. -encourage students to mimic the sounds found in the French language. -encourage the use of French in many communication efforts during class. -promote awareness of French-speaking people around the world (including geography, customs and culture.) Childhood is the ideal time to begin a 2nd language, particularly if the language is introduced through playing, singing, and fun activities. Children’s speech production capabilities are still flexible and more likely to be able to mimic native pronunciation and intonation. Additionally, the young child is not hampered by inhibitions and language mind-sets. C.A. gives me an opportunity to share my knowledge and skill with the ideal learners.
